Story Endings
I hope this dossier of Kathleen Moir Morris’ sketches has amazed and delighted you. At the very least, the drawings have added a new dimension to the life of one of Canada’s heritage artists. And enhanced the appreciation and scope of Kathleen’s artistic talent.
Although she may not have realised it, Kathleen was, and is, a magnificent raconteur. Every sketch tells not just one story, but many – stories that ignite our historical imagination, remind us of our roots and the influence of times past.
Kathleen’s bold colours and firm brush strokes, palette of activity, humour and visual narrative all thrive in reality and in our imagination.
